Teaching and Directing
Libby has been teaching theater and directing since 2009, working with hundreds of performers, and companies throughout the Bay Area, New York City, and abroad. Libby founded The Theater School in 2014 to share her passion and love for the theatrical arts. Libby has taught and directed for companies such as Google, Throckmorton Theater, Girls Leadership, The Performing Arts Academy of Marin, Sonoma Arts Live, Brooklyn Lab High School, G3 Women’s Conferences, Saint Francis Solano School, Sonoma Charter School, Saint Hilary School, Miracle Girls and more. Libby co-wrote and directed an immersive, theatrical performance called The Storyteller, a one act play about the life of Jack London debuting at the Jack London State Park Annual Gala.
Libby considers herself a fast-talking East Coaster at heart, with a California Girl sensibility. Born and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts, Libby moved on to the mean and magnificent streets of New York City, and now happily finds herself living in beautiful Wine Country. Libby does a lot of laughing with her husband, Miller, their hilarious daughter, Maeve, and their fat corgi, Julius Caesar.
